The Show....

This was My First Global showing of Mateo Blu Art the Exhibit "A Journey Through Life or Eine abstrakte Reise durch's Leben in Deutsch".

I've come a long way from the young child that sketched on the back of school his school work, to a man whose work has expanded his collective audience to a true Global arena.

Every goal set in creating the Artwork to hanging the exhibit went better than planned. Within this creative journey I was blessed to complete over 33 original works of art that can be viewed at the link below.

I noticed while producing the exhibit a lot of the painting created within the first couple of weeks gave a dark vibe or literally was created with the predominate hue black. I could see myself within my work, ironically while conducting the Artist Talk/ Question & Answer a collector asked if there was a deeper reason to choice of color palates with specific creations. With the help of a beautiful Interpreter I replied "My work is a strong reflection of self and society." I continued to usher the group around to any painting they wanted to hear more about. There's no greater feeling than creating a refreshing vibration layered in compliments from people of the greatest diversity yet and discussing subject matter that transcends mental boundaries inspired by Art and open discussion. Only higher feeling is a sold out show.

Coming up on my last week, I gained a lot more time in the day, not having a deadline allowed my creativity to continue... Producing more private collection paintings included the newest in the "Block Me series"

Realizing the negatives of Baltimore/ America was very much present 7000 miles away. Hamburg, Germany is still a warrior in Life's Mental Warfare

Keep The Door Close

Within building up the Studio space and purchasing enough supplies to keep me creatively busy. I traveled with 7 extra primed canvas from Baltimore. Which later severed as the prefect platform for several private collection pieces crafted outside of the work presented. The only people to see these works are those that follow (Mateo Blu) via our various Multimedia outlets.

While Road tripping it became clear to me, the extra primed canvas wasn't the only thing that made the trip with me. My heart and thoughts where still at home (Baltimore, Md.). Thinking of the safety of family and friends, the lost of the same..., bills that couldn't wait until my return. I am pretty sure the World knows the injustice/ evils that have festered under the foundation of America's Mystic. It saddens me the most to be familiar enough to know this is nothing new and

Things don’t just happen, they are made to happen.

My Art has always stayed true to my vibration/emotion ... this was just my first realization via visualization.

Things You Can't See

Things You Can't See

Through mediation, marijuana and working out, I manage to create a recipe that began to naturally add layers of color and ways of applying my style like never before. I felt like I began to Mentally reshape my creative mussel memory while balancing self.

To sum it all up "I Am My Art.... Creating the purest reflection of self and lessons learn."
